Our main task is to find an optimal solution, especially when it comes to key issues such as a uniform temperature distribution, shortened heating times and less stress / strain tolerance of the refractory material and the efficiency increase of the whole system.
As MEFKON is not associated to producers of refractory material or components we are therefore able to integrate highest-quality products from burner, control and refractory technologies into our systems.
TUNDISH AND LAUNDER PREHEATER OR DRIER
Tundish preheater are positioned on the casting platform and preheat the tundish until shortly before casting either with a multi air burner system or with an individually controlled multi oxygen burner system. Essential for a high efficient preheating is a gapless covering of the vessel and a permanent temperature control.
Similar to ladle and converter drier tundish and launder drier must be equipped with a to the tundish or launder adapted burner lid. High efficient drying processes can be achieved with a special TWIN blower secondary air system.
